Dustin was born and raised in Southeast Texas. A graduate of Nederland High School, Dustin attended McNeese State University for three years before finishing a B.S. in Kinesiology from Lamar University and a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University. He is currently working on his second masters through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

Dustin became a member of Ridgewood in 1998 and joined the pastoral staff in 1999 working as Associate Pastor before assuming his current role of Teaching Pastor in 2004. As Teaching Pastor, Dustin is committed to fulfilling his life verse of Jude 3 by “contending for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.”

 

Besides being a pastor, an author, a teacher, a speaker, and a local real estate agent, Dustin spends much of his free time with family and friends on their farm. Dustin and his wife Kerri are happily married and are the proud parents of four beautiful daughters and one adventurous son.
